Aquatic Support Attendant - Seasonal

GENERAL PURPOSE
This position is responsible for maintenance of the locker room, shower rooms, washrooms, changing areas, service concession patrons, and maintenance of the concession decks of the aquatic facility along with assistance to patrons in the areas.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Minimum of fourteen (14) years of age.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Report broken equipment to managers.
Assist and educate patrons on proper use of lockers.
Check lockers for contents and defects.
Place lost articles in lost and found.
Enforce rules and regulations appropriate to the aquatic facility.
Keep floors, mirrors, and bowls clean at all times.
Hose floor following heavy use.
Responsible for safety of patrons in the locker rooms and on the deck.
Keep tables, garbage cans, and concession decks clean at all times.
Maintain upkeep of table umbrellas.
Sweep and hose decks.
Empty garbage and recycling frequently.
Return concession trays to concession stand.
Water flowers.
Maintain a high level of readiness and be prepared to assist with emergency situations.
Provide a high quality of customer service in a professional manner to the internal customer that will facilitate team building and exceptional customer service to the external customer.
Follow the Wheaton Park District policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Proactively support the V.A.L.U.E.S. (integrity, fun, commitment, adaptability and growth, kindness, and service) on a daily basis.
Maintain good safety awareness and follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS
Assist with emergencies.
Attend in-service and staff meetings.
Must wear appropriate Wheaton Park District attire.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, ETC
Must have Food Handlers Training and Certification.
Hours: Vary, Sunday-Saturday
Salary: $7.75 per hr

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
