Responsibilities Reports to the Athletics Communications Director. Responsible for athletics office management. This position is 30 hours a week for 10 months and 20 hours a week for 2 months. Some nights and weekends expected. Duties 1. Receive phone calls and visitors, respond to queries and/or refer them to appropriate personnel both inside and outside the department. 2. Maintain office organization, including filing, posting mail, ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, handling mailings, running errands, and making deposits. 3. Complete data entry for the student-athlete database; establish and maintain the on-line registration for Wheaton Thunder sports camps and President's Open Golf Outing. 4. Assist the SID and/or Athletic Director with major department communication pieces related to Season Passes, Hall of Honor and Wheaton Thunder sports camps. 5. Provide administrative and scheduling support to the Athletic Director; arrange meetings and provide timely communication 6. Provide general administrative support to the athletics department personnel and administrators as needed; provide support in hosting athletic department events, ordering food, taking RSVPs. 7. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 1. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. 2. Highly organized and motivated to take initiative 3. Excellent computer skills, with knowledge of the following: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Access. Must also have a willingness to learn other software programs. Updated 6/14Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
